How Does It Work?
There are 3 Steps in the treatment process:
Inflammation
SkinPen uses microneedles that penetrate the skins surface, triggering the immune response to disinfect, remove debris and activate the creation of new tissue.
Proliferation
SkinPen creates a series of controlled micro-channels or micro injuries to your skin which are used to create a new network of vessels to rebuild using new granulation cells of collagen proteins.
Remodeling

Does it Hurt?

Over the counter pain relievers can also be used, if needed, following treatment.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
Your skin will become more radiant and smoother in just one treatment; however, we recommend three treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart for maximum results.
Your skin will begin healing itself immediately and will continue to improve as new collagen is produced.
Visible improvements will continue four to six weeks after your initial treatment, and your skins youthfulness and tone will continue to improve for another couple of months.

What Kind Of Recovery Can I Expect
One of the most remarkable benefits of Skin Pen microneedling is that it requires little to no downtime.
Some redness is normal (similar to a light sunburn) on the first day or two following the procedure and dissipates very quickly.
You can resume your normal activities although it is advised to avoid sweating for the first 24-48 hours and wait until the following day to apply makeup.
